FIFTY FACTS.
Bringing out your brand in fifty facts


Fifty brief facts about your company can provide you and your customers with a sense of who you are, and what you stand for. It will provide them with a basic understanding of your brand. These are short twitter length facts that are not commonly known, or are not known at all.

Why Fifty?
Coming up with 10 facts is easy. 20 gets harder, however it's still only scratching the surface of expressing who (and what) we are.  Once you get past the expected facts we begin to dig deeper into our history to find the facts that on their own may not say too much, but when combined with the others provide a clear snapshot of your brand.

My Fifty.

Here are my Fifty Facts you might otherwise not know about me, however given the nature of social media may discover through the variety of sources. No need to fact check. It’s all true. I promise. And when you're through reading mine, well, you can create your Fifty Facts.
  1. I sold my first logo when I was 15 years old. It was for a Teachers Center
    in Westchester
  2. I’m a proud single mom with a tech savvy 14 year old daughter who teaches
    me new things all the time. More than enough to keep my ego in check.
  3. I ride my 1998 Honda Shadow Motorcycle whenever I can.
  4. My Mom is a retired Math teacher and a very talented painter.
  5. My Dad is a retired Project Manager who creates trivets from wine corks and beautiful stained glass work.
  6. I built a snowgirl on the Brooklyn Bridge during the one of biggest snowstorms in NYC, and have the pictures to prove it.
  7. I’ve accepted my age, but don’t ask me what it is.
  8. I am the youngest child of three and take that job very seriously.
  9. I went to summer school at Rhode Island School of Design at 16.
  10. I took a graphic design class with Ed Brodsky when I was 17 at Parson
    New School.
  11. I’ve seen Jerry Garcia live.
  12. I like to bake bread, and eat it too.
  13. I eat Uni, Giant Clams, and Quail Eggs.
  14. I was a cheerleader in High School.
  15. I still have my pom poms.
  16. I worked at Radio Shack.
  17. In 1987 I sold a “mobile” phone that was the size of a toaster for $2,000.
  18. Also in 1987, I freelanced at 11 different design studios and agencies.
  19. I like to ride horses, and have ridden a thoroughbred named Indy.
  20. I don’t like meatloaf or watermelon.
  21. I was a tom boy growing up.
  22. I’m a little sister of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.
  23. I have a matchbook collection I started in 1982. It includes matches from countless NYC restaurants that no longer exist.
  24. I learned Basic and programmed punch cards in RPGII in the day when computer monitors didn’t exist.
  25. I had a Tandy Computer in 1979 and an Apple computer in 1980.
  26. My uncle provided me with bootlegged software for the Apple, and I
    would figure out how to use it.
  27. I was offered a job at Pentagram Design and turned it down.
  28. My favorite color is black, but black is the absence of color so I don’t
    have a favorite color.
  29. I took a class in HTML when I was 9 months pregnant.
  30. I buy flowers for myself.
  31. I collect folk art and art by self taught artists.
  32. I learned to blow glass, and was really bad at it.
  33. I walked by Woody Allen and Mia Farrow in front of Carnegie hall and
    didn’t realize it.
  34. I hunted for salamanders in my neighbors yard.
  35. I know how to jump off a swing mid air.
  36. My eyes are really this blue, and I do not wear colored contact lenses.
  37. I ride my bicycle without a helmet, and I won’t ride my motorcycle without one. Even in Connecticut.
  38. I have a fat notebook of black and white negatives I’ve never printed.
  39. I saw The WHO in their last concert before they did their last concert.
  40. I’ve danced at the Paladium, the Tunnel and Studio 54
  41. In High School I had an interest in microbiology and was considering
    genetic sciences as a career.
  42. I worked in a Bacteriology Lab at a hospital when I was 17.
  43. I planned to sky dive on my birthday last year, and actually did it. I have the video to prove it. Ask me for the link!
  44. My first job was as a “Page” in the local library. I put the books back on the
    shelf and considered the Duey Decimal System my enemy.
  45. I have a passion for candy from my childhood, like buttons, wax lips,
    and pixie stix.
  46. I make my daughter watch old B horror flix, like Andromeda Strain, Soylent Green, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and the 1950’a version of The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.
  47. I also made her watch the entire run of the Partridge Family.
    Now that, was scary!
  48. I play the flute, but can't read music, and like to improv.
  49. I read every issue of Scientific American Mind Magazine almost cover to cover.
  50. I’m left handed. So maybe that explains everything.
